Alno's "JUMBO" base unit from the LIBERO collection has received the coveted "red dot" award for Product Design 2005. The Red Dot award from the Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen is one of the most renowned on the international design scene. It is awarded annually to the best designed and most innovative high end products world wide. An international panel awarded the prestigious "Red Dot" award for high design quality to the "JUMBO" base unit from the new ALNO LIBERO collection. The "JUMBO" element is an all-around miracle of storage space, unusual in form and design with its multiple hierarchy of compartments allowing an enormous amount of space to be used while maintaining order. The compartmentalized interior of the front element allows additional storage space without sacrificing internal organization. The unit was designed to be used as an integral component in a structured kitchen or as the finishing element in a row of units. The "JUMBO" is available in ALNO's four signature front colors, lapis blue, ruby red, white and vanilla, as well as, a stainless steel version.
